About Me

Hi, I’m Angie.

I’m really glad that you are here.

I have been where you are now. I have struggled, been through heartache and experienced lots of loss. I reached out for help when I needed it. I know how hard this feels and how impossible things may seem now. I’m holding onto the hope that you’ve lost, I can help you find it. I can say that with confidence because there is always a way through (even the biggest of messes).

My phone consultations are free and I highly recommend them. One of the most important pieces of meaningful and transformative therapy is feeling like you and I “click.” If we don’t, please tell me that! I am a huge proponet for people advocating for themselves. Plus, I have a network of other fantastic therapists that I can connect you with if we are not a good fit.

Why choose to work with me?

My clients have told me that being in sessions with me feels easy even though we’re doing hard work. I believe this to be true because I won’t ever ask you to do anything that I haven’t done myself. This means that I have sought help when I needed it through individual, couples and family therapy for myself and my family. Plus, I rely a lot on humor which means that therapy with me doesn’t always have to be serious.

I’m also an active therapist meaning that we will practice a lot of skills while we are together. That way you can try out some strategies that may feel silly or clunky and have me to support you the whole way.

My clients tell me that although I can be tough on them, I am warm and loving when I give them hard news to hear. You’ll also never feel judged by me as we are all works in progress.

Change is hard—there is no denying that. Working on yourself and your relationship is WORTH IT. I can promise you that.

“We craft love from heartbreak, compassion from shame, grace from disappointment, courage from failure. Showing up is our power. Story is our way home.”

 My Story

I am so grateful and feel extremely lucky to be a couples therapist. I do not take lightly that people trust me when they are feeling their most vulnerable, hopeless and uncertain.

I am committed to helping couples deepen their connection, fight healthier, laugh together easier and learn how to turn toward each other again when they’ve been reliant on turning away.

Outside of being a therapist, I am a wife and a step-mom to two teenagers. I’m also a proud fur mama to five dogs and two cats. I happily embrace my chaotic life!

I like spending time outside with my pups, riding my Peloton (part of Cody’s boo crew!), and finding the next best restaurant for my husband and I to try. On nights in, you can often catch us watching (terrible) reality dating shows. I am a huge music lover and can thank many, many loud concerts for my terrible hearing. I strongly believe that most things can be fixed with a long drive, a walk in the woods or a body of water.

The boring stuff.

I came to this work on a long and twisty road. I grew up in New Hampshire and went to college for early education, I quickly learned that I was not cut out to be a teacher and switched to a Psychology degree. After graduation, I spent a few years working in the field as a case manager for youth. I wanted to experience some more culture and diversity so looked for grad schools in cities and landed on a Couples and Family Therapy program in Philadelphia. I fell in love with the city and now call it home (well… the suburbs anyway).

Here are some things you might like to know about me:

  • I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and Connecticut.

  • I am an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, so if you’re looking for a clinical supervisor, please get in touch.

  • I welcome clients of all races, ethnicities, genders, orientations, abilities and identities.

Let’s talk and see if we might be a good fit.
